Jurassic Park 4

eh... it depends on the storyline. I hated the 3rd one.
I'm sick of Isla Sorna and them increasingly making the dinosaurs look more silly. I bet by the 4th the raptor's are going to have full out wings. I understand that more proof that some dino's has feathers are coming out, but if they didn't have them in the first film, they shouldn't be 'evolving' that quickly.

Well, if the plot follows what I think it will, then the 4th film could pretty much take the place of JP 3 as the sequel to The Lost World. In Jurassic Park, velociraptors were escaping from Isla Nublar. In The Lost World, we learned that the meals the park scientists fed the dinosaurs contained a certain protein or enzyme (Don't have the book with me:csad:) that supressed a disease that was inherent in the dinosaur population. Now that their diet consists of the island's flora and fauna, that disease would likely strengthen. So now you have these diseased dinosaurs reaching the mainland packing an internal viral threat. There's a wealth of ideas in that which could include Bio-Syn and most of the original cast. And Carnotaurus. Please remember the Carnotaurus!!!:cmad:

Lisine, I just read the book last week :wow:

Oh, and I want a fully grown dilophosaurus.

Bloody-Disgusting learned this weekend that Universal Pictures has officially begun casting for Jurassic Park IV, which will film in Kauai, Hawaii later this year! Laura Dern confirmed her return to the franchise as Dr. Ellie Sattler here as Sam Neill will NOT return. We’re told that the film is about the government who has trained dinosaurs to carry weapons and use them for battle purposes
why would dinos need weapons???

Producer Frank Marshall tells Coming Soon that as soon as the WGA strikes ends – if it ends – they’re going to continue working on the script. “There’s an idea and we just have to see if it shakes out.” The uber-producer – who’s also keen on doing a fourth “Bourne” film – says the plan is still to get the film into theatres by 2009.

Um this is old news it was posted March 07, 2006

I just hope they actually have a script during the filming of this one. You could clearly notice the lack of script. The story idea itself was really fun, and could have been awesome. But the film lacked, with it's numerous plotholes. What happened to the Spineasaurous?? He just walked off and wasn't seen again.

Hopefully number 4 will have more T-Rex, and more Spinesaurous. Those two in the franchise are total scene stealers.

I'd rather not see Dr. Grant again, I'd be more interested in Ian Malcolm coming back, and after the events of Lost World, he could be like. I told you so people, I'm not crazy, you saw what happened in San Diego. Now that people believe him, he could go study them more or something along those lines.

And let's hope this one is mainly focused on the Raptors, they are great and all, but seriously, the've had 3 films focused purely on them. I want bigger, newer dinosaurs getting some spotlight attention.

Unless they have a really interesting, original angle to play with a fourth movie, I really don't wanna see another one.

I got my dino fix from the island scenes in King Kong, so unless they find a way to up the ante, JP4 really shouldn't be done.

And I don't mean just invent another, "bigger" dinosaur. The Spinosaur from JP3 sucked, it looked like a grotesque duck-monster and it ate cellphones that continue to ring in its stomach. Hilarious! :whatever: Besides, the T-Rex should stay the ultimate bad-@ss in the JP universe. When those two Tyrannosaurs attacked the Spinosaur in JP3, they should have defeated it. That would have been a cool callback from the first movie, where the single T-Rex "saves" the humans from the raptors.

What "two" Tyrannosaurs? The only one I saw had it's neck snapped by the Spinosaur.

The only time I saw two of them was in JP2....not JP3.

Was there only one? Well, it's been a long time since I saw the movie, I think maybe I just wished there were two at that point that would take the Spinosaur to dinner like the freaky duck-faced losersaur that he is. :oldrazz:

If that's true, that'd be the dumbest movie plot ever.

If they do anything they should touch on the part from the original books about the dinosaurs escaped on the ships and the thing about the disease. I haven't reread the books in awhile so I can't really remember what all that was about.

JP shouldn't be rated R...nor should JP have continued after the first one, really. But I'll give the series the second one. The third one, I'll just pretend didn't happen.

And the idea of them bringing back deadly prehistoric diseases that we have no way to fight and wipes out the human race is really interesting. But to have it continue with them carrying weapons......noooooooooooooo!
