Agreed one hundred percent. I miss King Kong and Jaws! They were my homeboys in Florida.

I just hope they don't tear out the ride, and replace it with a 4D THRILL RIDE with cgi Jurassic World characters.

Youtube "Jurassic Park Ride Florida" and you will get tons of POV of the ride.

You get into a boat on a track and go through JP, and you can see all the different species and stuff, all animatronic of course. Then something bad happens and raptors and a T-rex prey on you, still all animatronic and to size compared to the film. The ride also ends with a huuge drop where you get completely soaked. Check it out! Classic ride, and one of the few oldies left like Aquaman said, along with ET and T2.

I've heard they are planning a new JP ride at Universal but it probably won't come for 2 years or so.

Anyway I agree with a post on this site: I want the movie to feel classic JP, whatever that means

Rumor is it either got pushed back or isn't happening at all now. Reason being they want as much resources devoted to the third Harry Potter expansion. I will hate Potter forever if it denies an update and new ride in the JP area of Islands.

Treverrow more or less admits that everything we've heard about this film is true, but provides better context and clarifies all of it. He really sounds like he knows what he's doing. It sucks that he's so personally bummed out about the leaks but his approach to the film sounds great.

Consider me on board.

I read the synopsis on the Hype's article. So it's a remake/reboot of the original. I do hope they address how they rebuilt the park [pretty much from scratch] and captured all of the animals. The latter would be a major military operation.

They could always throw in something about how the 1% have a hand in the military. The new park's creators being among that 1%.

This has me excited. I haven't really read any spoilers so I don't know what he's going to do to excite the audience again after three previous films.

We imagined a teenager texting his girlfriend with his back to a T-Rex behind protective glass. For us, that image captured the way much of the audience feels about the movies themselves. “We’ve seen CG dinosaurs. What else you got?” Next year, you’ll see our answer

Man, that interview was great. I know directors are never going to talk crap about a film they actively working on, but the way Trevorrow has been talking about this film a while now reeks of confidence and passion. He's seemed really earnest so far and that the film really has a clear vision behind it. I trust the writers, the actors and the director. Rarely do all three make me feel comfortable.

Yea the Jurassic Park ride is awesome! I been on the one in Florida and kinda got freaked out at the end when you see the huge T Rex moving at the end of the ride. I heard that the ride at Universal Hollywood is a bit better though. Hopefully they do update in 2015.
