DAMN IT JERRY!
You had ONE job Larry!

Isn't it true when the T-Rex broke through the sunroof of the car while attacking the kids, was actually a mistake, and Speilberg just kept the cut due to the kid's genuine reaction of fear?

I'm pretty sure this is just another one of those "internet tales". If I recall, my brother said the T-Rex attacks the kids in the book in a similar matter.

Just like the photoshopped picture of Heath Ledger skateboarding over Christian Bale saying it was between takes...or the hugging scene in Fresh Prince between Will Smith and Uncle Phil being real...someone out there starting fake production stories.

That is the first I have heard of this.

The Eddie Carr death messed me up as a kid.

I thought Jurassic park 2 was a lot worse then Jurassic park 3 form what I remember I found Jurassic park 2 boring. I don't remember there being 2 TREX in the movie.

I thought Carr's death was cool as a kid. I loved that the mother and father T-Rex used team work. :csad:

Let's post some pics, videos or gifs whatever of some of favorite moments and things from the trilogy. Something to do to get us excited and in the JP and ready for the JW trailer :woot:

Gonna start it off with this one, dat animatronic Rex. :wow: Just a beautiful creation and what a shot, and what a scene as we all know. Winston's work on the creatures was just mind boggling.

If I were in Grant's shoes I'd be ****ting myself if I saw this.

I saw Jurassic park last year in theaters when they did the rerulsic of the movie has I was only 4 when the movie came out and man it was great to see this movie on the big screen. The first time seeing the T-REX on the big screen was amazing even with having seen the movie on DVD, TV, VHS like a million times.

^The long grass scene was great. I also like what they did with the waterfall.

With Jurassic World having been open for a decade, the operators and indeed the visitors are going to be complacent. This is a world where living breathing dinosaurs are the norm. They aren't exactly new or that appealing to people anymore. Thus the D-Rex is made. However they're soon going to get a big wake up call. Nature can be contained or tampered with for only so long.

Kind of off-topic, I wonder if they'll mention the second island at all. Did the dinosaurs there die out? Was the island contained somehow, did they regain control etc.

Didn't John Hammond in conjuncture with the Costa Rican government get it declared a nature preserve?

This whole thing basically inspired the concept of Five Nights at Freddy's, haha.

Well, I can't say any of my favorite moments from JP1, cause I would be listing the whole film, lol.

One of my favorite sequences from the trilogy as a whole, however, is the Spino attack on the boat. Especially since it was based off the Rex sequence they cut from the first film. They even had concept art for it.

This is a fan-drawing, but still relates to a portion of the unfilmed footage.

I never knew the first film originally had the river scene. I know it was in the novel. I wonder why they didn't include it in the first one.

probably budgetary, you'll notice that the T rex is largely absent from the rest of the film, which also takes place indoors for the last half hour or so.

It is really interesting to see how many scenes from the first book are interspersed in the three films.

Not only was it due to budgetary issues, as DS said, but David Koepp didn't like that scene to begin with.

I never wanted the raft sequence. It seemed to me at certain points in the book that we were being taken on an obligatory tour past every dinosaur the park had to offer. My feeling was that once the park broke down there should be total chaos. I thought the raft trip was rather redundant. So for me, it was an easy cut to make, especially because it would have been so monstrously expensive

Naturally, we would be taken on a tour to see a ton of Dinosaurs....because that's what the ****in' island was made for. That being said, I understand why it was cut, namely for the budget, and not Koepp's personal opinions aside.
