Jurassic World - Part 6

The thing that annoyed me most about JP3 was seeing Ellie and Alan broken up, and Ellie married to someone else with kids. After the ending to JP, which implied Alan had really warmed to kids after spending all that time with Lex and Tim, it didn't feel right that Ellie was married and had children with another guy.

Yeah, that bugged me too.

Umm, I think I need to know more about the Cretaceous Cruise, the kayak river. Since there seems to be 3 fairly dangerous carnivores on it...

Where do you see that? What I read about the Cretaceous cruise down the river on the main JW site it says "paddle with the plant eaters".

JP3 is a why even bother story that took a great character in Grant and relegated him to traffic cop in the same rescue story as lost world only more vanilla. The kid in this was more terrible then the girl in lost world and somehow turns into rambo after 6 weeks in a jungle with dinosaurs that could kill him in seconds but once the parents show up he acts like he just got the island.

Disagreed, Malcolm's daughter in TLW irritates the hell out of me. Say what you want about Eric, but at least he wasn't whiny half of the film.

The Baryonix, Suchomimus, and Metriacanthosaurus are listed to be part of the Cretaceous Cruise exhibit in their entries. The Suchomimus isn't much smaller than the T-rex, and the little one is stated to have a high agression index. Hopefully it is just the river going by their paddocks...

Baryonix and Suchomimus are both in the same family as Spinosaurus, so I could understand the threat there.

I'd imagine they'd be in paddocks fenced in just off of the river cruise. For viewing as you go by, seems like common sense to me that that would be the case haha.

Now that Julianne Moore won the Oscar, I guess they're regretting not asking her to return as Sarah Harding.

And going through the JW website I answered my own question as some of you have. The T-Rex Kingdom definitely seems like it just contains the one female Rex from the original park. Awesome.

Hrmmm... Interesting, then what is in the Restricted Zone I wonder? As people here were speculating, I was so certain that the original T-Rex was living wild in the Restricted Zone and that they would try and lure the I-Rex there away from the human crowds so that the wild T-Rex could he used to kill it. There was something so badass about the original female T-Rex being un-capturable and wild and free.

It could be another female, to serve as fodder to I-Rex in a brutal one on one fight to establish that a "domesticated" alpha predator stands no chance on its own against the genetically created Apex Predator. Cue the heroes realizing they need to get a wild version of the old hotness to take on new hotness.

Nope, it's our girl. The official website clearly states that the female T-Rex living in the T-Rex Kingdom has lived on Isla Nublar for 25 years, which explains why the images of the Rex on the official website are of our girl with her scars from the raptor battle.

For anyone that hasn't seen already, our girl in JW sporting her battle scars.

I thought T-rex had two fingers and a thumb on their forelimbs.

She looks really good tho!:up::up:

No. Tyrannosaurus, like all tyrannosaurids, only had two digits.

Perhaps you are thinking of Allosaurus?

Like the look of the new dinosaurs. I'm quite hyped for this. Certainly more than I was for JP III. Always wanted to see Jurassic Park as a live theme park.

I wonder if Universal Studios will rebrand their attractions to Jurassic World, or if not, pump some money into updating that section?

Would be worth it to me. I hope this film really catches on (well if it deserves to), and that the youngsters of today get into it.

If this movie succeeds, expect not just a rebrand, but perhaps an expansion. I mean it. Kids and families will want to see something like JW.

I don't see where they could put any of the returning main characters in JW, to be honest, without feeling like a retread. Yeah, we're getting back BD Wong, but that was a bit role in JP.

Love these pictures. I know its just a CGI dinosaur but I have such fond memories of this T-Rex from the first movie I will very sad if she gets killed by the I Rex :csad:

I'm still not totally on board with the Indominus Rex. I'll wait for the onscreen execution.
