Love their interaction in that clip. Pratt is great as per usual very much like Star Lord. And damn is BDH hot

I didn't mind the clip but it feels like a random pointless clip. It doesn't exactly get me excited for the movie at all, I still am but if I was on the fence that clip would knock me over to the wrong side.

I chuckled at the clip - it's cute but definitely a very random one to release to promote the movie. Pratt and Howard do seem like they play off each other quite well though.

Knowing this was released on MTV, I can see why they probably went with that clip.

I had all the faith in the world in Trevorrow and his team going into this, but after the dialogue from the trailer and now this scene...that faith is starting to shake. Hopefully it was just an awkwardly chosen clip.

They chose it to appeal to the young woman demo. We all know that. If you're dismissing the movie after that, I ain't got nothing for you.

It's hard not to be dismissive of it. It says hardly anything about the real stars of the film, and what talk there is is lost in clunky dialog and awkward acting. To have that as a first clip is odd to say the least.

Scene was good but could have done without that goofy background music. Atleast there attempting to give these characters personality and witt and my god if pratt isnt the new idiana jones then they have failed, cut from the same ford cloth.

Ouch that dialogue was ridiculously stilted. Pratt did what he could with it but poor Bryce Dallas Howard's delivery was really bad. At least she's really hot, so that certainly helped.

The only time I've ever thought Howard was good was The Village.

i instantly thought the writing was bad and lines felt a bit forced too. Sincerely hope this isn't a reflection of the entire movie.

But as long as there's no talking raptor (context or not) then this will never be as bad as JP3.

Exactly, especially agree with the latter. But if people seriously wanna jump to conclusions now and worry because of that particular scene. Just seems like a super overreaction to me.

Yes, this scene is taken out of context, but dear lord that was painful to watch.
