Justice League Heroes United

ha......arcade lol, why spend quarters/tokens on that

I was looking for the caption "from the makers of superman 64 and aquaman Comes....."

This game just looks all wrong even for a 20 min blast at the arcade

who the hell goes to the arcade anymore? I dont even know where to find one

Hell... that looked horrible. The only positive thing I have to say about that is, as crappy as it looked, at least it seemed the character animations where smoother than MKvsDC. But that's it.

Also, it's not like cel-shading is new to the gaming world. There's no excuse for it to look like it does.

This is what's possible today.

That abomination looks like something from the very, very very, VERY, early stages of the PS2. Heck, that looks like N64 just with better textures.

That looks Super...Man. Justice League: Heroes United seems to be alot more animated than MK vs JLU...which is very cool indeed.

Havok83, Dave & Busters is a chain of arcades in the USA. If you go to their webpage, it will tell you if there is one in your area. Also, on the net, go to google and type video arcades in the name of the town/city you live...I am pretty sure you will find at least one arcade.

arcade? Those still around?

Man I was hoping this was a sequal to the Justice League Heroes game. :csad:

Wonder Woman's fists are huge! She looks like she's got boxing gloves on.

The graphics do look dated, but I gotta give them points for using the Manhunters. Who the hell even knew they still exist outside of hardcore comic geeks like myself?

I honestly only know them because from the Justice League cartoon.

I have a D&B near me and didnt think of it since I mainly look at it more as a restaurant. I havent seen any straight arcade places like the ones I went to when I grew up

There was an arcade called Gameworks in a mall where I grew up as recently as a few years ago. I don't know if it's still there, but I'll probably find out next week when I'm home for Thanksgiving.

They should totally do another Justice League Heroes game for consoles though. The first one was mediocre, but fun and there's so much room for improvement.

Agreed. JLH is an underrated game. Repetive? Yes. No extras at all? Yes. But fighting was fun. It had great comic-booky feel. Upgrading was fun. Great voice-acting. Graphics were good. It had Batman. (Who was the best character IMO.) Kinda like Web of Shadows. Well, expect about Batman. (I really liked Spidey's voice.)

I agree. I really liked JLH.
The graphics were really amazing and I have to say the one thing they did better than XML and MUA is that they made all of the characters play differently.
You really had to think about who you were going to use rather than just using anyone and mashing your way through the crowds.
It was a hard game once you got to the Superhero and Elite, which I also really appreciated.
JLH2- someone should make it happen.

I think that WAS JLH2...

I'd get it for a console... the animation looks good, the graphic design, not so much. And its HIGH time they made it four player... really... HIGH time.

If that abomination is supposed to be JLH2, someone is going to get a kick into his crown jewels. JLH was a fun game, not perfect, short and barely content, but it felt like a good quality game.

A sequel is long time overdue. I really hoping it's not Heroes United.

Well I was hoping for the word “Early April fools” at the end, but just looking at this game, they are 6-10 years too late why is DC always so far behind Marvel when it comes down to Games? (example you ask? Well Marvel super Heroes (1995) and X-men Children of the Atom (1994) (hit consoles 1995), came out the same time as DC’s Justice League Task Force (1995) and Justice League Task Force was crap compare to Marvel’s. now they release a beat them up that doesn’t even look as good as the Arcade X-Men from the 90’s and at a time where Arcade don’t even exist. Some one please tell DC to fire the person in charge of selling their Video game License. Any ways I wish they would make a good DC game for once, Marvel has a few already, by the way anyone know if Xbox live or PSN will ever get the Arcade X-men, Punisher, or AvP?

DC almost always made the wrong choices when it came to choosing developers for their games. I mean, how hard is it to look at a developer's track record and then to decide who to sell their license to?

Back then, when the 2D fighters were made, they should've asked the SNK team to develop a game. Sounds like a no brainer, Marvel gets Capcom, DC should've went to SNK.

JLH1 was crap compared to Marvel Ultimate Alliance (which I believe were out about the same time). I was hoping it sucked because it was just because it was DC's first beat-em-up, while Marvel already had two under its belt (XML I & II). While I was hoping the JLH2 would be a vast improvement (again, as XML2 was much better than XML1) but so far it looks like it's a complete step in the wrong direction. Looks like they're trying to do the cell-style animation (a la Ultimate Spider-Man) but it is soo much worse. Preview vids are supposed to make us ooh and ahh over shiny graphics and explosions, but that just made me want to close my eyes and imagine better graphics.

Justice League Heroes United isn't a sequel to JLH. JLH was a multi-platform game, it wouldn't make any sense to make a sequel arcade only.

Yeah this isn't Justice League Heroes: United (a sequel)
it's Justice League: Heroes United (a new property)

You might want to research your facts before posting. :whatever:
