Wow.

Kanye West said:
Nelson Mandela did a lot of good work, don't get me wrong. But I think I'm on track to do something even bigger. I liberate minds with my music. That's more important than liberating a few people from apartheid or whatever.

Not to say Mandela wasn't for real. I have mad respect. I just think we need to keep things in perspective here. Anyone can be replaced. And I think I'm well on my way towards being the next great black leader. I'm already worshiped around the world. And there's more to come.

"I liberate minds with my music. That's more important than liberating a few people from apartheid or whatever." "I'm already worshiped around the world.".....Wow. What a piece of ****. I mean, I knew Kanye was a piece of ****...but I figured he had some standards. Just...wow.

Matt, Fox News is a satirical news station like The Onion or The Daily Currant :o:woot:

To be honest I wouldn't put it past him to come out with comments like that. Even though he hasn't.

Kanye is an idiot. I wouldn't be surprised if this had been real

Hahaha!

This guy loves trolling everyone.

I think it's similar to how some "stars" will release a porn tape and act like it leaked just so they can stay in the news.

Except with Kanye, he's still big and in the spotlight so he really doesn't need to keep spouting out ridiculous comments to create some kind of BS controversy to keep attention on himself. I guess he really is that arrogant and delusional.

 Well it seems like something he would say, so I could buy it. :funny:

Kanye is an idiot. I wouldn't be surprised if this had been real

I would not be surprised if this turned out to be real.

As the above, I sadly could truly believe Kanye would have the ego to say this. Most other people I'd write it off as a fake but he's one who has in the past shown his bravado at proclaiming himself better than other people and that he's more influential than he is.

That said, I'm relieved to know even Kanye wouldn't say something so stupid.

I wish we could go back to a simpler time without Facebook or Twitter, smartphones or superphones, and Kanye West.

And he could take Kim Kardashian with him as well.

Screw it, take the whole family and their dim-witted fans.

Unfortunately even if not true, this is totally believable. Kanye has said plenty of equally ridiculously outrageous things before...on multiple occasions.

It's kind of his "thing." Saying stupid crap for attention. Kind of like his wife's "thing" is being a ****e.

Hal, that's not very nice about his wife.

Kanye made a song about golddiggers. Kanye married Kim Kardashian. Kanye does not listen to his own music

But he's a genius! I've even heard him tell people that several times...on tv AND the internet! So it MUST be true.

You're right. Calling her his "wife" was far too generous.

I can't figure out a way to phrase what she actually is without getting banned for bad language here on the forums.
