Q: You played Ra's al Ghul in Batman Begins —are you interested in working more in the action genre?

KW: Yes. I's like to be in Pirates of the Caribbean IV maybe [laughter]?

Q: Would you like your character in the Batman film to make a return?

KW: Yes, my character didn't die.

Q: No talks yet?

KW: No

Sounds more like wishful thinking on Watanabe's part but one never knows with Nolan, do they? :cwink:

wow!!!

I def would like to see more of Ken Watanabe in the dark knight...there just wasn't enough of him in Begins...

He gave great eyebrow action - especially the left one...

^^lol at DA Harvey Dent's comment.

Didn't die? The place blew up and he got crushed by a falling beam and the ceiling collapsing. He even bled from the lips. Yep, that looks like he's dead to me unless the Lazarus Pit is real and he escaped.

I'd rather see Liam come back than Ken. Ken was the imposter, Liam was the real Rahs Al-Ghul.

He can't come back as Ra's, I watched Ra's Al Guhl die.

But, is Ra's Al Ghul immortal? Are his methods supernatural?

Most of them say the same thing about wanting to come back.
Cillian Murphy said the same thing.

But, is Ra's Al Ghul immortal? Are his methods supernatural?

Or cheap parlor tricks to conceal your true identity...

I know! Faux Ra's Al Ghul is really Harvey Dent! That's why Dent hasn't been cast yet -- he's already cast!

Who's the detective now, huh? :word: :cwink:

It's just wishful thinking on Watanabe's part...he's dead.

Idk, Watanabe's imposter was somewhat supernatural. Dude never blinks = check that shyt out.

Ken Watanabe in a movie is always a good thing:up:

Your antics in this asylum have forced my hand.

You're posting in a thread so corrupt, I have infiltrated every level of it's infrastructure. Like your father, you lack the courage to do all that is necessary.

If someone stands in the way of true Bat-news, you simply walk up behind them, and stab them in the heart.

if Ken came back as a different character, that would be awesome...

...but as the same character? no thanx...

yeah but stabbing them in between the eyes would be more effective and to-the-point.

OK.....How the f**** did he not die? The place was nuked by the bat in that hideous scene. Actually that's the only scene in the film that makes me think "hokey" ....The whole crazy monk forced speech and the cliche lines. The rest of the film is gold.

He's dead Ken.

Ken Watanabe actually could return, because... If you make yourself more than just a man, if you devote yourself to an ideal... and if Chris Nolan can't stop you... then you can be in The Dark Knight.

Him coming back would probably mean any old joe has access to the lazarus pits, not just Ra's. Imagine a community of Ra's running around the screen - plain corny.

I like Watanabe, but returning to the Begins series? naahhh.. His character is not even significant enough to be returning as a ghost.

I sure thought he was dead.

But then again, I though Ra's jumped his soul out of him and body-snatched Ducard for a while there, so I could be wrong.
