Kid has enough, destroys bully, gets suspension

I wasn't bullied very often because I would react just like this kid would.

Yeah, all through my childhood people would try to start up bullying me, but I would always lose it and fight back, doesn't matter if you got your ass kicked or not, the point is you don't just passively take it, you do *something* about it, whether it's shouting, fighting, insulting them, kicking up a frickin stink about it, making sure you befriend other people so you have back-up, you have to do something about it. Because that is what they do, they go looking for the person who will just take it and make it easy for them, if you make it difficult for them to bully you, they won't try it again.

I was bullied as a kid. But when high school came around everyone in my town seemingly grew up.

Really I over exaggerated it there. I wasn't bullied or picked on that much in elemen-terry or middle school. Mostly because I got along with everyone.

I felt really picked on when I was younger. I was a big dork. When I got a lot less socially awkward in high school, I realized that everyone gets picked on, teased and made the butt of jokes. Especially among guys who are friends. I learned to find the humor and sport in it, and give as good as I got. Fortunately, it was never really malicious teasing. Now that I'm in the construction business, I find that those skills come in handy. Around the office, we just rip into each other nonstop all day long.

Slagging each other off was considered an artform at our school, everyone did it, everyone had a 'slagging'. To me, it was just all a big joke, so I was surprised whenever anyone took it to heart, but there was only one guy I used to exchange slaggings with who acted like he was pissed off about it years later, and i had no idea he was at the time, at the time i thought we were pals. but, lol, he turned out to be a frickin jerk anyway, so i am not bothered about that at all.

He and his chicken-**** friends instigated the incident. He threw 4-5 punches at a boy who did absolutely nothing to them, and who was making no effort at defending himself. Worse yet, his friends were videotaping it - for entertainment.

The little **** gets no sympathy from me. Should be thanking his lucky stars he walked away without any serious injuries.

And then, the bully's "friends" posted the video online anyway, even though the bully ended up being the video's point of ridicule instead of the bullied. People who get off on tormenting other people should not be expected to have much loyalty to each other. As they say, when you lay down with pigs you wake up smelling like pig s***.
