wait.....I thought in this reboot, [BLACKOUT]Eagle[/BLACKOUT] is Fulgore?
If you looked closely at Cinder' stage, you can see a long haired warrior in some sort of glass cylinder with wires sticking out of him. They are going to release a twist where Eagle was still alive, and only his fighting abilities were incorporated into Fulgore, as well as some of his memories.
There's apparently a larger announcement at E3 2017, and a Killer Instinct comic book being developed by Dynamite Entertainment as well.
My guess is: More stages, more Ultimates, more guest characters, and probably some retro stages?
Oh nice. Wouldn't mind checking out the comic actually as I'd like to get to know the characters more.
thanks. I didn't know that.
Eagle Trailer Revealed!
Microsoft has gone a long way into making an American Indian character that actually pays respect to the Nez Perce Indians. Amazing job!
Coming to Steam later this year.
I hear that 4K Killer Instinct will be available on the XBox One X

Can't wait to try this out in 4K. It already looks so good even without it.
Man some of these ultimates are really chafing under the T rating. With that said, Glacius, Tusk, and Kilgore's look really awesome.
I'm getting some slowdown during Ultimates at 4K, but the game is beautiful!
Have they finished adding new characters now? Were Shin Hisako and Eagle the last?
yeah, I was curious about that, too.
I was kind of expecting another "season" of characters. but it seems the game is done?
It's a great game now with so much content. Couldn't really have asked for more from a KI remake. Even after years of continual updates we're disappointed that it's not going on forever which is a sign they got it right in the end. But next time around they need to get the starting impression right too and launch with a good number of characters straightaway. This is as good a game as the other top beat'em'ups to me and will just take time to bed in like the others have had. Although being an exclusive will limit its reach.
well, KI is a nice exclusive for MS/Xbox to have.
wasn't a fan of the "piecemeal" approach of the 1st, either.
hopefully there will be a KI 2 and they will release it as more of a complete game.
would be a shame if the new KI series is totally inactive now.
I hope there is a KI2 and work starts on it asap. In the meantime KI is now an awesome product.
still the best fighting game this gen, definitely on my top 3 of all time
Im very impressed. Has new content finally been stopped officially
I think so sadly, nothing official though
Ok. Really hope that same team is hard at work on a sequel then. Are they at work on any other games that we know of?
there has been rumours of a sequel in the works but nothing confirmed as of yet...I dont know if the devs have any other properties they are working on at the moment. The dev team that worked on this game changed throughout the seasons, the devs that made season 1 (double helix) are the ones that created the fundamental gameplay, I think they deserve the most credit, iron galaxy picked up after this because double helix was purchased by amazon so microsoft discontinued using them
Oh. Will be a shame if we cant get the same talented guys who conceived the game originally to work on a sequel. Hopefully the guys who took over can do a good job anyway. This can really get up there with the other big fighting franchises if they start moving forward with it and adding new characters to future games.
definitely when it comes to mechanics double helix deserves all the credit, a lot of fans think the gameplay changes that came in later seasons were a step down from what double helix did, but thats debateable
I do need to give iron galaxy credit for creating new characters though, I really liked all the new characters they made in the later seasons, I usually dont like new characters (new SF characters never impress me, even new MK characters are hit and miss) but I really liked all the new KI characters
Yes, thats a good sign at least. Hopefully they can step up if asked to work on the sequel and the series will always have the basis set down by Double Helix to work from and build on.
