Kurt Sutter

I agree Superman was a great movie. However it WAS rehash. Rehas well done and a nice copy of Reeves running around against Lex Luthor again trying to steal land. I'm glad I saw it but the first time I watched it I felt like I saw it 100 times already. Now Batman Begins is another story...that was just awesome.

...just say who's the comment directed at instead of pussyfooting around the damn bushes....

You just didn't pay attention to ALL of his posts. Just drop it though because this type of talk is going to prove nothing and get us nowhere.

Let's move on to talking about the Punisher we know is being cast.

The biggest problem was they tried to rehash a movie that was a classic. Trying to match the quality of another movie (especially one from 20-30 years ago) is a challenge that's usually not worth taking.

That's why I'm really hoping they take Punisher 2 in a completely different direction than the Tom Jane one.

The thing with SR is that Singer would describe it as a timeless story. So I think continuing the Superman franchise where Superman 2 left off was interesting.

Look at his posts, he likes Superman. I'm making a point. It's easy to say the movie you like is garbage. But to back it up with why you don't like it, is something that would require a brain. :unishr:

Ah, I see.

It was a good idea but the tone of the movie was kind of boring. Christopher Reeve and Margot Kiddor had great onscreen chemistry back in the day and their performances were humorous and fun.

Brandon Routh and Kate Bosworth were kind of awkward in their roles at times (especially Kate) and nothing really happened through out most of the film.

Funny considering it was said the reason for Bosworth's casting was that she had good chemistry with Routh.

Anyway, lets stick to the topic here.
