Yeah, let's judge one director's entire skillset by one movie.
Ridiculous! Like every movie needs a known and flawless success director behind it in order to raise interest!

I saw this movie about twice today and I do agree with all of Ebert's points and the movie was pretty entertaining and of course, Samuel L. Jackson creates a terrifying villain in this movie. He's just nuts...and you any excuse you want, but I don't think anyone should be threatened by seeing this film. It really does raise a lot of interesting moral questions that no one should be immune to. There really is not aimed audience here. If the "races" were reversed, the movie would be just the same.
