Those flash floods are no joke.

Get this though... I am way up on a street that slopes in an area of Brooklyn that is at a high elevation relatively so there's never a chance of flood waters coming in after pooling outside or something.

The water I got was purely because there was a biblical deluge for 3-4 hours that was more than anything that was normally draining or shunting water away could handle. Water was rushing out of the foundation walls. I'm sure every brownstone with a back yard in Sunset Park was a swimming pool for a time.
