Lawsuit filed against Chinese food restaurant after girl dies from peanut allergy

The food was thought safe. The restaurant failed to follow the teacher's instructions and therefore the case is a valid one.

At the same time, it sounds like it was a regrettable accident. The restaurant may have attempted to make the food allergen-free, but overlooked something.

If the child's allergy was severe enough to be life-threatening, she should have kept an EpiPen in her backpack or on her person AT ALL TIMES.

I know the family is mourning, but the truth is there's plenty of blame to go around.
