Warner Bros. and TT Games have officially revealed LEGO Marvel Avengers.

The new movie tie-in is set following the events of both Avengers films, namely Avengers, and the forthcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron.

No specific release date has been given as of yet, but it’ll be available in Fall 2015 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, 3DS, and Windows PC.

Cool, I must admit I prefer Lego Marvel Super Heroes to Lego Batman or Lego Hobbit. I'm not as keen of the suit and tool systems the others use as you just end up using just a couple of characters, with the system in the Marvel game it encourages you to use a larger selection of characters.

Kind of a bummer that they're limiting themselves to the movies for the sequel. The first game explored so much of the Marvel Universe, and took from many comics, movies, shows, etc.

Lego Jurassic Park sounds more promising, particularly with the hub being a free-roam park to explore.

LEGO Marvel Superheroes was my favorite LEGO game. So I'm excited! I'm glad to see that the levels in this and JP:Lego will be based on the movies.

That doesn't sound like a sequel to the fun fun fun LEGO Marvel Superheroes.
Jurassic World should be fun.

I just hope Hulk and other big figs can super jump this time (and maybe have Spidey's wall cling too, so they can scale buildings jump by jump).

Oh and playable Quicksilver, Vision and Scarlet Witch.

Saw this earlier, really excited.

I was thinking they could do additional levels or DLC based around other MCU projects, like an Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. segment where you have to refuel the Bus or something. Or a Daredevil segment set in Hell's Kitchen.

This will include Age of Ultron, so the Magneto's kids are definitely there.
But saying this is movie based, I guess we will hear the movie cast, and we won't get Spider-Man or any of the characters from their non-MCU-film versions.

Probably the characters from the TV series also but we could see some of the other characters Marvel still have the rights too, perhaps some of the characters from the future MCU films like Black Panther and Captain Marvel. I suppose they won't use the characters at Sony and Fox unless they did the same as Marvel Superheroes where those characters appeared as their comic versions while many of the MCU characters had both MCU and comic versions.

The press release also added "and more", so it will likely include other MCU movies and properties.

Plus the addition of Vision, Ultron, the Maximoffs, and other major past and future MCU players that weren't in the original game.

It's a brilliant idea to focus on the avengers because let's face it, the only fault lego marvel superheroes had was that it had maybe four power types and every character was just a skin for that.

But I'm so excited for this! I hope we get tons of cool avengers, not just the ones that have appeared in the movies

If we don't get the X-Men, FF or Spider-Man they might do something like having every character that has been an Avenger ever in the comics appear which would add probably close to 100 characters alone.

I think people need to relax for a minute. We know little details outside of platforms, release window and that it will tie into the films. How do people know they are limiting themselves to just the Avengers. Did LEGO Batman, limit itself to just the Bat-universe. I think people need to wait till they actually start talking about this to see what scope it will actually have. Theres no reason it cant be as robust as the last game

I actually don't think this is a sequel to the first game and that the sequel will come later.

Instead, this is probably going to be more of a stand-alone title that focuses just on the MCU, which I actually prefer.

Limiting yourself to the avengers seems like a step back fro marvel heroes.

But that will almost certainly be wisest. Limiting the pool means focusing more on characters who haven't had a fair go yet like tigra or Ultron.

I know what I want is no Stephen Colbert or anyone of the like babbling every second you pass near them in e very room explaining the room. Conan O'Brien is the most annoying addition to LEGO Justice League.
