I am so sick of these comic companies saying that a character will die just to have them return, like we're going to fall for it anyway, sure we know better but it is old.
I heard Captain America would be killed off, and like so many others I was just like yeah whatever, when will he be back, and of course Steve is back.
When Superman died it was fresh and well done, when Batman had his back broken it was a good saga.
But now with Batman and RIP and everything after it is just pathetic. We all know he'll be back, as one DC guy said at Comic Con he'll be back he just won't say when ofcourse, so probably in a year as is the usual with these stories.
If you want better sales then come up with a good original story, not a tired lame gimmick like this death of or disappearance stuff. We fans know better.
Don't come out with this crap like it was never done before. I am so sickj of hearing, oh a hero will die, it makes me sick how stupid that is.
Just stop with the phony deaths. We know they'll be back and in the meantime we're stuck with idiots trying to be the main hero.
I love Batman and it sucked waiting for Bruce to come back the first time 'round, but it was a good story. And Grayson wanted to be his own hero and in Prodigal it showed he didn't want to pick up the mantle of the Bat. That was all resolved, now he's Batman again. What is it all for, just to come up with a new costume and Batmobile, just do those up grades for Bruce.
Enough is enough.
I'm not trying to be a jerk, and if you like this stuff fine, but it feels like their just insulting us fans now with these tired 'death of...' stories.
Like when they said Colossus would stay dead, I was like yeah right, sure enough, some time later he popped up alive. It's a joke now. No more Deaths. And don't kill off any of our Heroes or villians for that matter, instead just make them better, write better stories, and if you want to change a costume just do it without some big lame saga that lasts a year or more for no good reason other than to make a different costume.
Or any other lame reason.
Just write a good story, and quit dragging out this dead gimmick.
