Oh, God... "Hey lets cast a young, hot twentysomething as McClane! That sounds good, right?" As a comic it works. The character could be young, but the artist can still make it McClane. But in a movie? No such luck.

I dunno, a Die Hard prequel with that premise actually sounds rather cool.
