Been thinking on this for a while now, but rather than solo outing after solo outing, which DC characters (moving forward within the DCEU) could benefit from a dual role in a film, one that's both conventional and practical, drawing loosely on, and taking inspiration from the comics, rather than directly from them.

Would a film featuring Shazam and the Hawks (Hawkgirl & Hawkman) work if their antagonists were Black Adam and Vandal Savage? Would a film featuring Arthur and Diana teaming up to battle Queen Clea pay off? What about a film that focused on Diana and either the Hawks, or Shazam in Egypt facing off against the likes of Black Adam/Vandal Savage and Anubis?

Would a film featuring (some of) the Bat family work if they were facing more than one antagonist; would an alliance between say, the Riddler, Penguin and Scarecrow work? Would a Batman/Gotham film work if we placed Batman, Deadshot and Deathstroke into one story?

What could work, what wouldn't? We've got some characters (Birds of Prey, Gotham Sirens, Blue Beetle & Booster Gold) that we already know will or would work, but where else could the films go if they wanted to expand and explore different avenues?

Bluee Beetle and Booster Gold.
Didn't I read somewhere that this was all but confirmed? Maybe it was pre production or something, but I know I've read something about this as more than a mere idea.

Cyborg came up with Flash, though I'm guessing that had more to do with when a black director was attached.

I just read last week that BG wont be on the film, they want to focus on Jaime Reyes and latin america

That would have worked rather well, considering their connection to Star Labs, and their odd chemistry (what little there was) during Justice League.

I guess then, they're going to follow a similar route to Ant Man, and (assuming they get a sequel from it) Booster Gold will be introduced either late into the first film to then feature heavily in the second, or he'll appear in the second to simply continue in the third. These two characters are very well suited, and it would be a bad call (I think) on the part of DC/WB not to take full advantage of this.
