According to Britain's Sky News, there may be a Lois Lane spin-off film in the works which would star Kate Bosworth.

"Lois will be back bigger and better in the next movie, and with more of her own storyline", said Bosworth.

The article continues on to suggest that their are plans to give Lois Lane her own investigation spin off. The film would be based on the comic series that also featured Lois as the main character.

In the comic, Lois would often battle with criminals in various investigation, defeating them with her quick wits and the Kryptonian martial art of Klurkor, taught to her in the bottle-city of Kandor

Not to be a jerk... but that sounds so freaken lame!

The author of that article has a great imagination...

Yeah. It is old news. From her interview a month ago. And it is doubtful that this will happen as it is a spin off to a movie that underperformed about the worlds most known superhero. So if the movie about the hero failed, do you think they will make a spin off about a secondary character?

They shouldn't make a spin off with Lois even if Returns was succesful, at least...I hope they wouldn't.

True. It would confuse people on why Superman wasn't around to save the day. I mean with Elektra it is different, as, except for the fans of the comics, no one knew who she was prior to the movie. So people could accpet it. But with Lois Lane, everyone knows who she is, and that she is Supes main squeeze. It would just confuse people that with any trouble she got into a solo movie why Superman hasn't flown in to save her. Even if they do that "he is on another planet thing" like they did with supergirl, everyone would be expecting Superman to save the day.

It would cause even more confusion then the "vague history" fiasco.

If this did happen they can always set it while Superman as gone making it a Prequel :o
