I've always had a PC. Macs seem pretty cool though. I'll defiantly be purchasing a macbook in the future.

I generally prefer macs now, although it really pee's me off (as a designer) that the fonts aren't automatically loaded, you have to use Suitcase. Annoying!

PC. I already have an Ipod so Steve Jobs doesn't need any more of my money{and you should have seen the Macs at my old high school, they were a pieces of crap}

Mac = vastly superior to PC.

i used to feel the exact opposite on this subject, but having used Macs exclusively for work for over a year, i can't even stand the touch of a PC laptop.

I hate PC's and will never use one again as long as I live. I'm all about the Mac.

i would prefer a mac but i purchased a HP laptop (it's illegal to install mac on it). i'm currently running windows vista so it's sorta like a mac.

It's not so much the legalities that are prohibitive as it is the technically kludgy soup of hacks and workarounds that are required to do it and the fact that they render the Mac OS damn near unusable on a PC.

Well, from experience, I used to have to work with them quite a bit for my last job and they froze like crazy. I always had to unplug it and replug it to get it to restart. Every time I'd get an order that needed the use of a Mac I knew I was going to have problems. lol. I don't know, I hate them.

I've been using Macs since System 7 and haven't ever had a Mac that froze up on me. Not once. And I've pushed them to their absolute limits resource wise and have even run them with numerous third-party extensions, haxies and various system hacks, which would cause instabilities if anything would. When I was a Windows NT SysAdmi and Network Admin we frequently had windows boxes that froze up on us in our corporate data center, though. My XP box at work requires a weekly reboot just to reset all the damn memory leaks.

I prefer Mac, it's my first time using a apple and i have no problems so far.

im telling you, if you are fed up with your pc, dump the windows, and get the linux. its unstoppable, theres a community of people guarding it, not just a room of computer nerds who cant possibly keep track of half of whats going on. not to mention, with my linux system, the computer can stay on for months on end if need be. you leave a windows system on for more than a week and its sluggish as hell.

download linux, its free and damn near perfect.

I used to be a total pc person, but i went out on a limb and bought a macbook. It was like time-traveling! Now, I can't stand to use my desktop( although it's an exceptionally old, smelly piece of crap).
