Hardy's gonna have an avalanche of movies next year.
The Mad Max game is dated for release on April 30, 2014.

Could this mean that the movie will be released around that time? WB has Transcendence on April 18 and Godzilla on May 16. Split the difference and you've got May 2. Is this the kind of movie WB would open the Summer with?
They opened their summer movie season this year with The Great Gatsby so I wouldn't rule it out.
The big problem with that date though is it'd be going directly up against The Amazing Spider-Man 2. WB could honestly fair better if they go with the Memorial weekend and take on X-Men which the last film underperformed and ranked last in all the X-Men movie BO takes...but then First Class never had Wolverine so that could change things.
Its pretty cool Mel Gibson gave Tom Hardy his blessing on the role. Mel had dinner with Tom and said Tom reminds him of one of his sons.
Mel will have a cameo ass a drifter as well.
I have a feeling that Mad Max and Robocop will be the two movies we all see when the world ends and we're in Heaven. The pearly gates open and we get tickets to see a double-feature of both movies.
So Mad Max Fury Road isn't slated for Comic Con this year, and there MUST BE something going on with it.
I'm not sure this movie actually exists.
did we have a similar situation with a movie in hollywood?
i agree that going for a realese date before the script is finished is wrong. but after the movie is finished filming? maybe they didnt get enough footage and they will have reshoots when the weather is OK at the same time?
To be honest, maybe I did overreact with the whole Comic-Con thing, since Transcedence, Jupiter Ascending, All You Need is Kill, and Interstellar won't be present either. Actually, WB's panel (unless they have surprises) is a bit bare this year.
