Thanks. Going to Disneyland California Adventure inspired me over the weekend, but I still wanted to do something that would be weird, color and texture-wise.

This is by far the best picture I've taken of my art, I'm so happy how well the picture turned out. I didn't even really have to tweak it in photoshop.

It was noticed, when watching the first 3 pirates movies this week, that my reference picture was flipped, so I fixed the scars and the blow-hole to the correct side lol

Not at the moment :/

Been pretty wrapped up in my writing project that I haven't had the time to dedicate to a full illustration piece. I did start work on a cover illustration, but scrapped it.

I've been writing a book series, and toyed with the idea of doing the covers myself, but if I go the traditional publishing route, they'll likely toss out whatever I come up with anyway. :/
