quick and sloppy way to do it (with probable crappy results)

That was one of my favorite scenes. Sandman may not be my favorite villain hbut he had the best transformation and most bitersweet acceptance of it of any villain in this series or any comic book movie.

Just saw it. Very cool. It looks like they expanded Maya's fluid dynamics and particles. It also looks like for part of Sandman's body they used an animated texture and bump map.

The scene is spectacular on screen.

indeed, i wish i was better acquainted with Maya's fluids or MEL scripting. But yea good good scene.
