Man Decapitated on Greyhound Bus

I know there was a shooting during the day and bystanders chased him as he shot at them. They were lucky that the guy was apparently an awful shot.

It does happen, but it is extremely rare.

I think everyone on the bus did the right thing, getting the hell out of there and locking the guy in. They weren't being cowards, they were reacting like any normal person would.

you can't even fall asleep on the bus without getting your head cut off...I bet the bus driver is registering for a gun right now so the next time someone goes all homicidal maniac he'll just blast them to hell!!!

In all seriousness, how many of you ever get nervous sitting next to someone that you don't know? Whether it would be in a movie theater, doctor's office, airplane, bus, etc.

I commute on NJ Transit to college, so I sit next to a lot of shady characters. One time this guy was looking really flushed and hugging his bag on his lap and looking around nervously. It was odd.

I take the 72 everyday to school in Jersey over here, and there are some crazy bastards and a lot of people say buses smell like piss as a joke...but :meanie:

Would you honestly charge up to deranged man, with a hunting knife, stabbing a man over and over again, cutting his head off? I highly doubt it.

Everyone is fearless on the internet. :)

"Do you have anything to say Mr. Lee? Did you commit these crimes?"

What exactly is he supposed to say? No?

Reporters can be so stupid!

I wonder what the crimes are? Obviously one is manslaughter. Maybe the other one is attempted grand theft auto? :o That one canadian reporter is at the top of his game.

he looks like batman kicked his ass in the interrogation room :D

Did this life and death situation happen in the blink of an eye and involve a machete wielding lunatic slicing someone's head off?

You have no idea how you would actually react in that situation, but 9 times out of 10, you would get the **** off the bus like everyone else.

I see what your saying. It's natural instinct to run .

I can tell you first hand that you don't know how anyone including yourself will react until it actually hits the fan . I know that from one tour in iraq. I was fortunate to be one of those people who didn't panic .

What happened on that bus was a volatile situation and those people did the right thing by getting off the bus. they had just been woken up and werent completely aware of what was going on . there were a couple people who tried to do something but we nearly powerless. this was a dangerous man with a weapon and you can't expect a civilian to be able to take them down . its a nice thought but they would likely become another casualty.

Yeah, I mean you would obviously have handled the situation better, as would pretty much anyone in the military or police force, because they deal with similar situations and are trained with it. Even people who have been though a horrific situation before would deal with it better then someone who hasn't
These were just random people on vacation or traveling. It's completely understandable that no one tried to take the guy down and save the day. It would have been foolish to do anything more then lock him in. Which they did.

Why a few people in here call that cowardly is beyond me.

Because they're trying to look be cool and macho, when in real life they be pissing their pants. and perhaps soiling theirselfs.

In all honesty, I would have run. I'm not a very big guy, which would render me useless in an altercation such as that.

Terrible. Everyone around here is talking about this (I live in Manitoba)

Honestly, yesterday at work I was sweeping the patio and literally every conversation I overheard was discussing it.

Just curious... But was it confirmed anywhere as to what exactly he was using?

Think we can rule out butter knife

Birracial kid.

Yup.

Probably mocked as a child, and abused as a kid for being half Asian.
