He needs to be responsible for his actions and pay the casino.

My issue with him is, is "I was drunk" becomes a legal reason to not pay for gambling ebts, then wouldnt it also be a legal reason to not pay for bar tabs?? What about anything else you could spend your money on in a bar? Why would anyone ever pay for anything in a restaurant? I wouldnt have ordered the desert if they hadnt loaded me down with a few mixed drinks...

Just pay the money and shut up.

as a former compulsive gambler, you have to learn your lesson or hit rock bottom....if the mob still ran things, this guy would either get an ass kicking weekly till he paid up or would just disappear

yes...Big Ed Deline wouldn't have any of this

Whenever I read something like this, the same thing runs through my mind;

"Should we blame the matches? Should we blame the fire? Or the doctors that allowed him to expire? "heck no! Blame Canada!"

I love that we are in a society where everything is someone else's fault.

I'd do it, only if I could slap them with a big, comedy sized fish though.

Casinos shouldn't have to babysit gamblers with addiction problems; that's not their responsbility. That man should just pay up, but I have a feeling that he doesn't have $127,000,000 in his bank account, but apparently he has enough money to sue the casino. Go figure.

Looks like he owes them $14.75 million still, not the full $127 million.

Casinos are able to cut people off, but it's good business not to. No one made him drink or made him gamble they facilitated both of those things though, that's what their business is. This would be like someone suing Hallmark for having to read their ****** cards.

If you have a gambling problem or an alcohol problem do not go to casinos. It's not their job to be responsible for you.

I actually sorta feel bad for the guy. Lots of money, lots of time, lots of big fancy enticements. It's a lot to overcome.

Especially if he HAS a problem.

At any rate, it's just as much his fault as the casino's. Probably more his fault.

If this individual has a problem with gambling, then he shouldn't be gambling in a casino in Vegas.

It's not the casinos responsibility to babysit grown ups

If he chose to gamble that kind of money in these uncertain economic times, he should live with the consequences. Only a fool or an addict would bet that kind of money.

I wish I had that much money to pee away like that.

You have people working their butts off and still struggling to pay off their debts so no I have no sympathy for him, PAY YOUR BILLS MAN!!
