Man sold drugs dressed as Incredible Hulk

Can you imagine if there was a drug...and when you take it, you feel and think that you turn into a superhero...like huge and muscular like the hulk, or you sprout wings like angel, or claws and hyper-senses like Wolverine...but in reality, you're the same to everyone else outside.

Like you go around feeling like the Hulk and lift up a huge truck...but in reality it's some child's Tonka toy. Or you're fighting some huge monster over some secret magical gem...but in reality it's some baby you're wrestling over a lollipop with. Sounds like a rather typical POV/deluded mind story...but the twist is that they really are superheroes, and they've secretly been administed a drug that's supposed to make them feel 'normal'...but it's somehow malfunctioned and affected the world around them into thinking that they don't stand out, that one guy being huge and green-skinned is no more remarkable than someone else in jeans and a t-shirt.

So the heroes first want to embrace being accepted as normal et al, but eventually they miss being recognized as exceptional and unique. Actually forget it...sounds like an X-men story..... :cmad:

The Avengers are going to need to Assemble an Intervention.

Oh, I think I just found Marvel's next big crossover event.

Either you have never taken illegal drugs, or you don't know how to enjoy them, haha.

After being arrested, more like The Incredible Sulk.

I love how there are all these people in the thread wishing, hoping and praying that he is angry or sulking or whatever, it really makes my day, hee hee.

Put it this way...those days are long behind me. ;)

Yeah, I can tell, you sound like a budget, rather than a movie.

edit: in other words, it doesn't sound like you took the opportunity to carry anything from the experiences into your sober life, in any meaningful way. You still have the same limits.

Actually, I stopped because I chose to grow up. Give it a try sometime. :D

Well, we all have our own opinions on each other's progress as human beings don't we?
I find that anyone who throws that sentence around usually has a lot to learn.
and using those little smug smilies, is always a sign of weakness in the wit department imo.

Do we? Or is that the drugs doing that?

Nice to see you put so much thought into it, at least.

The winky ones are fine for communicating a tone, but the smug type ones show a lack of confidence in the power of your own words. The way they are mostly used round here anyway.
and yeah, I'm putting a lot of thought into what is going on.

I can vouch for Kalmart. Big time junkie back in the day.

Yeah, I can imagine you two sitting around trading gags, thinking you're the funniest guys in the world.

Oh yeah, we shared everything. Jokes, drinks, needles. You're making me nostalgic, Thebumwhowalks.

Didn't you just make that gag already? C'mon, push those boundaries scootie, wrack that brain.

Not capitalizing the word "more" belies insecurity, immaturity, and a lack of conviction.

or it means your biggest fan is just very impatient to hear new material.
but that's ok, going back to what I was saying on the previous page and taking the piss out of me, good, a karate basic.

People....keep it clean and civil in here.....keeping the responses intelligent would help too.
