The dude ran into a ****ing hole. A gap. An over what? Minor injuries. He didn't fall to his death while helping someone he fell to his death trying to get to someone who didn't need his help in the first place.

Might have not been that simple, i bet there wasn't any warning signs stating " warning huge freaking hole/gap here try not to fall in " . Who knows.....

This article needs pictures. I don't understand how he climbed over a barrier on a bridge and missed a 17 foot gap in between lanes. That's not possible.

Most bridges these days have steel metal grates in the middle of the lanes to let wind pass through, not leave 17-foot open gaps.
