So it's Warner Brothers that have the rights. I think I remember something about them getting their hands on the Mandrake character. But wasn't that more than 10 years ago?

Probably McAvoy. He's my favourite actor out of the four and the one most likely to get people interested in the movie.

I don't think Barnes would turn it down, actually. He might want to be in a high profile film again.

I will suggest some unlikely ones that probably will never be Mandrake, but they would still suit the role in some way or another.
Hugh Jackman, Richard E Grant, Matt Dillon, Tom Cruise, Christian Bale, Robert Downey jr, Karl Urban, Eric Bana, Clive Owen, Henry Cavill, Kevin Zegers, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Liam Aiken... all kinds of ages there
