That is quite possibly the oddest teaser trailer I've ever seen. Still, Scott Frank is God. This should be good.

I saw an odd trailer with the puppy running on a beach and Owen and Aniston chasing after. I was really confused. :csad:

We're due for another trailer soon. Sometime in September, I would imagine.

My wife just finished reading that book. She was laughing throughout.

That is the cutest poster in the whole wide world. :yay: :sucker:

This is pretty messed up. I don't understand some people.

LA Vandals Spoil Marley & Me’s Ending

/Film reader Stephanie O just informed me that Los Angeles vandals are tagging Marley & Me bus shelter banners and highway billboards with the film/book’s climactic spoiler.

wouldn't you know the ending if you read the book anyway?

I never read the book but I've seen a lot of people say it's a big time tear jerker. So, um be sure to bring a butt load of tissue.

This movie was really great. It was fun, romantic, a very heart warming.
The last 15 minutes is pure tearjerker. I saw it in a sold out crowd and I could hear lots of people crying in the theater.

I give it easily a 8/10 and it is one of the better family movies I've seen in recent years.

The trailers shown with it:

-Confessions of a Shopaholic
-He's Just Not That Into You
-Night at the Museum: BotS
-Monsters vs Aliens (#2)
-Bride Wars
-The Proposal

I'm reading the book right now, and absolutely LOVING it. I'm going to see the movie a soon as I'm done.

Am I to understand this is about a neurotic dog?

That's not all that big a spoiler. You can tell what happens just by the tagline and the basics of it. A dog that taught people what's important?

Hmm...wonder if that was because the dog was around forever?

I'm a dog lover and so I saw this with my family yesterday. I won't lie, I had to fight back the tears at the end. You end up attached to the dog like it's yours too.

The weird thing I noticed about the movie is that it's an EXTREMELY hard PG movie.

I mean, it's borderline PG-13. There's blood, at least two SOBs, S-bombs, a few hells, damns, drinking, drug references, and just tons and tons and tons of innuendo and content (for a PG movie anyway).

I was so surprised. :p Maybe it's been a while since I've seen a PG movie?

Was it just me?
