One of my favorite shows of all time. Grew up on that. For those who still watch the re-runs on TBS early in the mornings, the series starts from the beginning this coming Wednesday morning.

It is funnier to me nowadays, since I myself am married with children.

The show cracks me up, but this is definitely one of those "of the era" kind of shows. If this came on television today, it would be cancelled after 2 episodes. There's no real plot in any of the episodes and its really just a series of constant sex jokes and innuendo for 22 minutes strait. But hey, the show had 11 seasons. 11! Thats gotta tell you something.

3 and a half year bump.... awesome.

I still remember watching the first episode, when Al came downstairs for breakfast with a bandage on his hand.

Al said, "Did you put your cactus plant where the alarm clock used to be?"

Peg said, "Oh yeah, I meant to mention that to you before you slammed your hand on it."

Al said, "Well you didn't."

haha.

Love MwC. Waiting for a complete box set or something to come out before I go buy the individual seasons.

It started out as a edgier "all in the family" but then dived into the ludicrous realm.

I remember Al trying to blow up a rabbit and at the end he was in a smoldering crater with Peggy's voice saying

"That's Al folks!"

best episode is the one where Peg is reading one of her romance novels to the little kid, Kelly and her are hostages, Al is the Captain, Marci is his cabin boy, Bud is the hunchback, Jefferson is Prince Paco, and Steve is the evil Captain Fluvio the Cruel

Married is one of my 5 favorite comedies. Loved the show and I think it would still do very well now. Two and half men is very similar to Married and has been the top rated comedy on TV for years now.

One of my favorite episodes of the series. The more ridiculous and over the top it got the better.

But it sucked how FOX just out and cancelled it without even informing anyone from the show. Wouldve been nice to get an actual MwC ending.

Great show. Even last night my sister was over visiting with the wife and I, we watched like 4 episodes in a row.

I always wondered why Al would never want to have sex with Peggy. I mean are you kidding me, Peggy my original MILF.

Married with Children was one of my most favorite sitcoms growing up. It is still hilarious to this day and I would say it is one of my top favorite tv shows of all time.

Definitely of an older time. Audiences think they are too sophisticated for this type of simple, raunchy show anymore.

The episodes that centered around Bud were always a riot such as when he volunteers for the virgin hotline. "ok think of the Zima guy"

And when Bud started using the nickname 'Grandmaster B' and Kelly would always tease him calling 'Bedwetter B'. classic

And an episode where Al was protesting the cancellation of his favorite TV show "Psycho Dad".

Who's that riding in the sun?
Who's the man with the itchy gun?
Who's the man who kills for fun?
Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad

He sleeps with a gun but he loves his son
Killed his wife 'cos she weighed a ton. He's Psycho Dad.

A little touched or so we're told,
Killed his wife 'cos she had a cold
Might as well she was getting old
Psycho Dad, Psycho Dad, Dad.

He's quick with a gun
And his job ain't done.
He's Psycho Dad

And don't forget when Psycho Dad got cancelled the actor starred in the new show "Lefkowitz, Special Education Teacher"

Maybe it's me, but I liked the seasons after 7 the most.

That's what made it so funny. If Peg was some fat slob you would understand why Al didn't want to have sex with her. The point was that it didn't matter how hot your wife is, is the fact that she's your wife.

I miss this show. personally, I think it's the funniest show/sitcom ever!

Exactly.

God I love this show.
