I gotta go with DC's aliens. Pound for pound, they've just got cooler alien races. The Durlans, the Kryptonian-offshoot Daxamites, the Coluans, the Dominators, the Spider Guild, whatever the f*** Kanjar Ro is, whatever the f*** Despero is, whatever the f*** Kryb is, Starros, the two races of Dryad, F-Sharp Bell, etc.

Marvel's alien races can be cool, but they're mostly forgotten outside of the Shi'ar, the Kree, and the Skrulls at this point. Plus, they're almost all just humanoid *****ebags who consider Earth a pathetic mudball yet have an insane amount of interest in it.

I gotta go with Marvel's aliens. I think they're more varied and, especially in recent years, more fleshed out and developed than DC.

I'm so tempted to pull a "tie" because Marvel space has been getting so good lately, but DC space has been good longer and more consistently. Not to mention, more DC A/B-listers are outright aliens, giving them that extra boost.

Kryptonians -- possibly the most well-known comic book aliens. Making a huge comeback, probably going to be the center of the big event next year.

Martians -- Totally awesome green people.

Thanagarians -- Crazy birdmen. From space with mace.

Tamaraneans -- Learn things by ****ing. Imagine their schools!

New Gods -- They're in dead space now, but they had a good run.

And then you got the secondary characters...

Daxamites -- Space racists allergic to pencils.

Zamarons -- Space rapists allergic to penis.

Rannian -- Inventors and most frequent users of space viagra.

Korugarians -- Simply cannot resist the Earthman lovin'. Though it's no surprise if all their men look like Sinestro.

Other awesome Emotion Corps species like Arisia's planet of ****ailbat. And Kilowog.

Plus many more that I can' think of off the top of my head.

And all that's not even getting into the outright villains like Dominators and Starro and the Reach.

Okay yeah this is not a tie. DC wins.

I am so wise. But I don't spend that much, mostly around thirty-forty dollars, usually far less. I suppose my brain just retains comic book info better than it retains silly real world things like oxygen.

I think the Marvel aliens have been used better in recent years but the DC aliens are so vast and different they win it for me - DC does have Coluans and Durlans afterall.

Urghh..I like both universes quite a bit!! I think I'll go with DC though for sheer variety and longevity.

Marvel's had been a bit samey in the past, although I think it's much better than it has been lately IMHO.

For the record, I love DC's catalog more than I do Marvel, and if I wasn't being anal and all, I would OBVIOUSLY vote DC, but since I can yet again tie a round, and I'm the only one here who likes Symbiotes, I'm gonna be an ass and vote Marvel.

Normally, I don't do this on purpose. Unless I vote as soon as I do the round, if I haven't voted, by the time I can get online, AND close the round, I get ready to vote and I see the tally is tied. Its always a coincidence.

Again, DC Aliens > Marvel Aliens. But I'm voting Marvel
