Martian Manhunter. Never found the appeal of the Surfer outside of his look (which is admittedly awesome).

The Martian Manhunter for me. I like the Surfer, but he has indeed bored me for a lot of his existence as well. The Martian Manhunter is consistently awesome and can easily continue to be consistently awesome because he has so many interested facets to his character--grieving father/widower, last of his kind, man searching for his identity, etc. Just throw another shapeshifty secret identity into the mix and explore a new side of him.
