A university in Scotland has recently started offering a Masters Degree in Comic Studies. They argue that comics such as Desperate Dan, Our Wullie and the Broons originate from Dundee and it is the university duty to its socially historical surroundings. -though in the same breath they are forced to cut subjects including Applied Music and Geography and Sociology. Maybe there more demand for it.
