Matt Damon’s Adjustment Bureau Out to Studios

The Box wasnt as bad as people make it out to be

Yeah, it was.

Kelly couldn't stop himself from incorporating all the space/time *****ery that made Southland Tales such an unholy mess, 'cause he couldn't help himself from including all the space/time *****ery from Donnie Darko.

Oh, and uh . . . . these posters are ass-tastic!!

Oh boy. How are their torsos moving with their legs like that in the first one? It looks like he's doing the Twist.

The posters look horrible. The movie itself looks decent. Plus it has Matt Damon so that alone will draw me in.

I'm still looking forward to this, it has a interesting concept and two good leads.

The poster photography and design looks like it was done exclusively for a Vanity Fair photo spread. It would actually work in that context, but for an actual movie poster, it's remarkably ill-conceived.

OMG, it reminds me so much of Dark City. It's not even funny.

I was actually thinking more North By Northwest the poster reminds me of.

I'm still not sure if this will be good, but I have a feeling I'll be seeing it. The cast alone warrants the purchase of a ticket:

Matt Damon - easily one of the best actors out there today

Emily Blunt - easily one of the best actresses out there today and the woman of my dreams
J
ohn Slattery - awesome on Mad Men and in Iron Man 2, sure he'll be good here

Anthony Mackie - delivered a standout performance in The Hurt Locker (I'd even say he was just as good as Renner)

Terrance Stamp - KNEEL BEFORE ZOD, B**CHES!

I am crossing my fingers that this is good

It's getting surprisingly decent (not amazing, but decent) reviews considering its delay in release date, and I do love the cast, so I'll probably be checking it out this weekend.

I hope to as well.

Just got back from watching this. I've been looking forward to this for awhile and I'm happy to say I wasn't disappointed by it.
Blunt and Damon gave great performances and their on-screen chemistry together was tremendous. I was really cheering for the both of them.

I just wish that Slattery and Stamp got more screen-time but they make the most of their scenes they were in.
The movie also looked stunning thanks to John Toll. If you were thinking to watch this, please do. I highly recommend it.

4/5

Cool, I'll have to check it out. Glad to hear that people are liking it.

Thought it was a pretty good movie as well, especially for a film debut by Nolfi. The cast and Toll elevated the movie to a enjoyable level.

Just saw it, and I really liked it. It's nothing huge or groundbreaking, but a nice, well-made and well-acted sci-fi love story. Damon and Blunt did a fantastic job selling the (fairly speedy) romance, and that's what makes the movie work, imo.

I enjoyed it. Its not an action movie like the trailers made it out to be, but its a good character driven drama. Nothing amazing, but decent.

I was suprised by the religious angle. The trailers made it seem like some sort of shadow government conspiracy. I was shocked that it had as spiritual of a tone as it did.

The movie was okay. It was pretty much a love story. The trailers did lie a bit like others have said but it was okay. Not really any big action pieces or twists and turns. It was just a story about a guy and a girl and a 'plan'. Emily Blunt was very likeable and so was Damon. In fact the entire cast was pretty good.

3/4

btw...I only saw this because Rango was sold out.

Just saw it. Think Dark City meets Sleepless in Seattle. The worst villain in this only causes the girl to sprain her ankle.

The previews make you think that Matt Damon'e character is threatened with death.

I thought the same thing. Just got back from seeing it myself & I really enjoyed it.
