MCU Tag Team Battles: Thor & Ghost Rider Vs. Doctor Strange, Kurse, & Graviton

This a fun tag team styled MCU battle thread to break up the monotony of our once a week MCU Fights. It can be 2 on 2, 2 on 2 on 1, 3 on 2, or even 3 on 1. Keep in mind this is purely for just fun and doesn't in any way effect our Power Tier.

DOCTOR STRANGE, KURSE, & GRAVITON

So let's this started shall we....

Doctor Strange can do almost anything with enough time and with Kurse and Graviton acting as tanks, he will have it. Graviton himself is no slouch either with the ability to basically destroy the Earth. He could just fling Ghost Rider into space. Team Strange wins.

You're forgetting that Ghost Rider can open portals just like the ones Strange use so BFR isn't really an option.

Thor and Ghost Rider take this with Thor as the MVP and Ghost Rider as the tank who can keep one of them busy whilst Thor deals with the other two.

Doctor Strange can't BFR Thor (Stormbreaker can summon the bifrost) or Ghost Rider (he can make sling ring portals too). He might be able to use his crimson bands to restrain Thor/GR but it won't stop the lightning and Strange is a glass cannon so one bolt of lightning, hit from Stormbreaker or hit from Ghost Rider takes him out.

Gravitons a glass cannon too. He does have shields which can stop bullets but he has no feats blocking attacks like lightning and I also doubt he can block Stormbreaker when the Infinity Gauntlet couldn't. Offensively he's never hurt anyone as durable as Thor/GR, he probably can hurt them but I don't think he could crush them instantly like humans/Kree and they'll take him out before he can take them out.

Kurse is physically stronger than Thor/GR but they're both strong enough to take hits from him and compared to their last brawl Thor's lightning/axe should more than level the playing field. We don't know how Kurse would cope against the kind of lightning blast that knocked out Hela, and if he can be pierced by a random Dark Elf spear then I don't see him surviving Stormbreaker.

Strange's magic powers are perfect for taking out Ghost Rider who is immune to normal weapons. So GR probably ain't the big threat people might think. This is more about Thor.

I don't think Kurse could stand up to Thor after his recent upgrades - in a pure hand to hand match Kurse might be able to beat Thor, but I suspect Stormbreaker is just too powerful.

Mcu Graviton I don't know much about. The comic book version of Graviton could go one on one with Thor by himself. If MCU Graviton's powers are similar he could pin Thor down while Kurse wails away on him.

If Strange, Graviton and Kurse use superior teamwork they'd win - if not Thor is just too powerful, with Stormbreaker making the difference.

I'm with you on Kurse. I'd actually go a little further and say if Thor fought with the kind of skill/lightning charged punches he used against Hulk on Sakaar he'd take Kurse in hand to hand. Stormbreaker makes it overkill.

MCU Graviton's a weird one. His best feats on screen (levitating a kree space ship, lifting cars, blocking bullets, crushing kree) seem comparable to Scarlet Witch. He probably could restrain Thor but he's still a glass cannon though and (as Hela found out) restraining Thor won't protect him from lightning. He's also driven insane by his powers so I don't think his teamwork would be great.

Agents of Shield time travel shenanigans imply that in an alternate future Graviton absorbed more gravitonium, stole the powers of Quake and destroyed earth. That timeline gets averted and we never see that version of Graviton on screen though so I presume that's not the one in this fight.

I would have put this as a stomp for Strange, Kurse and Graviton if not for Thor-El. Its right enough we have never seen Strange actually de-power demons or anything of that nature really.

So if Strange can't get GR off the field which we know he can't because Robbie can open his own portals now I think he is the difference maker.

Looking at the team of three I would peg Graviton as the weakest. If Thor can survive the heat of a star and the vacuum of space then I think he could probably take whatever level of gravity manipulation Graviton currently had.

Like previously said above he's too much of a glass cannon one shot from Thor or Ghost Rider and he's done.

With Stormbreaker I don't even think its a question that he stomps Kurse in a rematch. Stormbreaker tanked through a beam from a full infinity gauntlet it could kill Kurse.

Think you end up with a two on one on Dr Strange, he puts up a valiant effort but would eventually take a fatal shot from Thor or Ghost Rider.

Thor can hit multiple enemies at a time.... strange would be dead before he can do any of his magic.. I haven't seen anyone blocking or dodging thors lightning

In the alternate future Loki becomes the US President and adds his face to Mount Rushmore, with the big bendy horn helmet. Also, James Gunn's twitter account gets deleted in 2009 and he goes on to make GOTG 3, which wins the Oscar for best movie featuring a talking raccoon and a tree creature, billions roll in. Disney buys WB and makes a really enjoyable movie featuring both Batman and Superman.....everybody wins !

That sounds like a good one, but The Guardians have too much firepower with Star-Lord and Rocket's tech.

Okay, add Elektra to the Defenders and have them fight indoors.

I think Luke Cage vs Drax and Iron Fist vs Gamora would be close.

Jessica Jones could take on Groot which leaves DD to fight Rocket and Elektra to tackle Star Lord.

I'd give a small edge to GOTG because of Peter and Rocket 's tech - but it also depends which Groot, baby, teen or adult Groot, with adult Groot probably making too much of a difference for the Guardians.
