Devasting and hard to watch 1988 World War II based horror drama from Hong Kong about how during the last days of WWII before the bombing, the Japs tortured the Chinese and Russians for sick biological experiments so they can win the war.
It's gory as hell and realistic as well with scenes like an actual cat being thrown into a pit of flesh-eating rats, a naked man dying in a decompression room as he literally shoots his intestines out, and a real dead body used for an autopsy sequence. This movie makes "Hostel" look like a trip to the circus.
