Merry Christmas and a Happy New Lounge

I usually have these movies on my Christmas watch list:

Here's one you need to look up We're No Angels (1955) stars Humphrey Bogart, Peter Ustinov, Aldo Ray, Basil Rathbone, Leo G. Carroll, and Joan Bennett. It's hilarious.

Are Harold and Kumar in that one?

My NY resolution for 2015 is to only watch films with at least one of them in but preferably both.

So an AirAsia plane went missing from Indonesia. Disappeared over the Java Sea.

I would expect that they find the plane. The Java Sea is not large enough to lose a plane for too long, in my opinion.

These plane disapperances seem to be happening with more frequency than I'm comfortable with. Or maybe I just didn't know about them when they happened in the past.

So Doctor Evo got banned?

Really? What over? I like him a lot, way smarter than myself for sure, but... He could be a little high handed (We all can be though, truthfully). Still... Perma or will he be back soon? Or is this about the legal issues that have come up recently?

I know what you mean. Given how many planes take off and land each day, plane disasters are quite rare, statistically speaking. However, its really disconcerting when they go missing. You would think the ocean currents would have washed something ashore by now (referring to the Malyasia flight).

I hope they find the AirAsia plane soon (or at least pieces of it).

Why yes....yes they are....because everyone knows that the actors playing Harold and Kumar were alive and professionally acting in 1955 when it was made.

The pure physical space that these planes often go down in around the globe... It never surprises me when little to no wreckage is ever found in many of these air disasters.

Isn't there a remake of that with Robert DeNiro & Sean Penn? It has exactly the same title.

Yeah, that film where he and Penn pretend to be Catholic Priests, right?

Same title, but only part of the story.

The original is late 1800's/early 1900's on Devil's Island. Bogart, Ustinov, and Ray escape the prison are trying to get off the island. They hide out in a general merchandise store ran by a daffy but loveable old couple and their daughter....as they bide their time about finding a way off of the island, they start helping the people with their store and their personal lives with hilarious outcomes. I've seen it a couple dozen times.

The remake is set in 1930's America...DeNiro and Penn escape from prison and hide out in a small town disguised as priests. I can't tell you more about it, I only saw it once and it made no impression on me other than to not go out of my way to see it again.

found a $15 gift card while walking to my car, that was kinda cool

Cool DJ. what kind of music do you mix?

All kinds of stuff man. Mostly dance music but I can get down with anything. I was about 10 tracks into this new mix before I got pissed of and had to call it quits for now. I'm doing everything with a program on my laptop since I don't have a controller right now and it really sucks. There is a ton of cool stuff I'd like to do but can't because of it. It's really freaking irritating.

Click the link in my sig for 3 of my latest mixes that you can download for free

I guess I just had in my head that every square cm of the globe was mapped out by some technology in 2014. Yeah hope they find something soon. If not soon it's probably going to be nothing again.

This is what happens when you act so well, you live an even longer and healthier life. And thanks for digging up this potential gem of theirs for me. I had a feeling it was for me when you put it at the top of the page like that. :yay: And people say you're a meanie!

got one of those UHD tvs... breaking bad never looked so good... but Netflix needs to step their game up.
