It's not bad if you know what you're doing. Make storyboards. That'll help.

I find them hard to write especially if there are a lot of combatants. Hard to keep straight who is doing what, and how each skirmish on the field impacts the surrounding fighters. Best to have labeled plastic avatars in front of you as you plot it all along. Might help.
