marvel has done pretty well with enmeshing music with it's films. GotG really brings that to the forefront, but a big shoutout to Iron Man for pretty always being in sync with an AC/DC song lol

Yes while It's a good film as I stated because of the Marvel can do no wrong shtick that people have the rating of the film has gone over board.

I haven't heard of this Marvel can do no wrong business and over board rating.


Iron Man 2, Captain America and Thor 2 have been lackluster.

GOTG and Avengers are only the Marvel produced flicks I would consider great films because of the directors behind them.

I'd have to agree with you here. As much as I enjoy Redbone, I like AC/DC more.

I liked the first half when they went over Cap's origins, but then the second half fizzled out. I did however enjoy Winter Soldier all the way through.

I think having Black Widow in it so much helped. I liked them working together.

Id enjoy the film just the same with or without the Marvel name brand. I love the film because of the characters, their relationships, and Gunn's direction. The Marvel brand doesnt even matter to me. I dont add or detract "points" from a film because its produced by Disney, or Pixar or any other studio thats had a run of films that appealed to a wide audience.

A good film is a good film regardless of the studio.

I work on New Years Eve and New Years day most years. Cause January 1st is just another day and the world shouldn't stop for it. Lookin at you, UPS. Making me wait until Friday for my new 50" tv, because of this "holiday"!
