Michael and Juanita Jordan divorced after 17 years

Which NBA player doesn't have some on the side, seriously?

The timing is strange. Why now? He just was on Oprah not that long ago talking about his kids etc. Maybe he figures they are old enough and they stayed together for the kids?

I remember watching a TSN production about NBA stars and all kinds of stuff that goes on that never gets reported. The players are the "Rock N' Rollers" of the 21st century.

Sad. :csad:

Yes, a lot of athletes do have some on the side, but it's MJ. Jordan. We turned him into a god around the globe. Which he pretty much has become.

Zeus got some on the side, and he was married to Hera.

Hell, I'd marry Jordan if the pre-nup said I'd get half. :o I'd get over the trauma.

The Cult Of Celebrity seems to be rather hard on marriages. Being under the spotlight constantly has to cause a lot of extra stress and strain.

I thought they were already divorced. Must've been just seperated? (eff it I don't feel like reading the link)

Same here. Apparently she withdrew it the last time she filed for divorce, to try and reconcile.

:( I feel bad for MJ. Why does everyone jump to the conclussion it is his fault though? MJ seems like such a nice, geniune guy. Maybe Juanita had someone on the side?

Also, they filed for dissolution of the marriage, if I'm not mistaken isn't that similiar to annulment and not divorce? If thats the case, they probably worked out the money outside of court.

Never thought I'd see the day that MJ would actually separate from his wife. Though he did have some on the side I heard.:csad:

It kinda' figures....he retired the first time "to be home with the family". Then what does he do??? He joins a minor league Baseball team....in good ol' Alabama!!! :whatever: Then he comes back to the NBA with its looooong 80 + game seasons.....after 2 more seasons, retires from Bulls. What does he do now?? Does he go home? He joins the Wizards front office. Then he starts playing for the Wizards.....then he re-re-retires.... Does he go home?? Nope....he hangs around Vegas.....Then he ends up in Charlotte....not Chicago.....where his wife and family happen to live. :whatever:

Yeah, I am. What I'm saying is, even though I am a heterosexual male, the thought of getting half of millions would convince me to go gay.:o That was the joke.

He did have some on the side and it was a pretty serious relationship that lasted a few years if I'm not mistaken.

Now, I've been a big fan of MJs since I was able to run and jump around and dunk on my little basketball goal as a kid. I've watched games just to see his skills, I've rocked his sneakers & gear and I've stuck by him through his returns and retirements. Whatever the case I wish my man MJ the best.

He's Michael ***in' Jordan, he's gonna ride this out and be cool.

Billionaires have feelings too man.

They just gotta dig through all the money with a crane before they can get a chance at even feeling them.

Ah, figures. Poor poor Eastern Conference teams. You could never catch a break, huh??
