Is anyone else watching this? I get that it’s not to everyone’s tastes but I love mike Myers and I’m finding it hilarious

I wanted to watch it, but apparently Netflix already cancelled the show since the numbers weren't great... I'll still try it later though, when nothing else is on.

Edit. It's not a huge hit, but I guess all those articles about the show being cancelled are misleading. It seems that the show was intended to be just one season.

it's...... it's mike Myers being mike Myers after a loooooong hiatus.

I'd rather he revisit Waynes World to be honest.

He's blogging/podcasting now and they have a wild night adventure... similar to 'super bad' 'old school' etc.

I thought this was awful with some of the most juvenile, unfunny humor I've seen in a while. You could tell Mike Myers was really trying, but it's just painful to watch him struggle with this level of writing.

As much as I loved the Austin Powers films growing up and I enjoyed Waynes World, but his schtick here just felt more outdated than anything else although maybe it's more because of the bad writing.

I think I have grown up past Mike Myers type of humor. I realized with The Love Guru he was no longer funny to me. Wayne's World, Shrek, Austin Powers, those are still great but he just has not found a way to stay innovative. That's unfortunate because he was really quite funny.

I think the consensus was this *might have* worked had it just been an hour and a half movie. But as a series, it’s just painful.

I haven't checked this out because Myers's multiple character schtick wore thin for me about 20 years ago but I'm seeing a lot of shows like that now where I think to myself, "This could have just been a movie". This is one of the downsides of streaming being huge, these studios are always going to opt for a series first even if the story doesn't call for it. I've felt the same way about a few recent shows like Halo and Under the Banner of Heaven.
