MILLAR & HITCH's NEW PROJECT

To be honest, Millar's clues are pretty good. Even so, I have no clue what this is.

I was gravitating to the crazy thought of them taking over She-Hulk, but she appeared in the 80's.

Considering the speed of release of their last project, I think an accurate title should be, "THE THREE YEAR ITCH." ;)

When it's finaly revealed, we're either going to kick ourselves, or kick Millar for the horrible clues.

Either way it'll be at least 6 years before whatever this is even wraps up. :o

I don't know.....chick Defenders with that Miss America chick?

Am I alone in thinking that the first issue of this shouldn't be released until the last one is fully written, penciled, inked and coloured?

No. No, you're not. I don't know why publishers don't do that anyway, especially with finite arcs and series. Like Ulimates for example. Millar, Hitch and Marvel knew how long it was going to be. They also know the speed at which the creators can complete an issue. To avoid delays, it makes sense to finish it before dropping the first issue, right?

Same thing with the Unverse Wolverine/Hulk mini, Daredevil: Father, Astonishing X-Men, the list goes on.

Perhaps its Marvel's answer to birds of prey?

Birds of Prey, while successful, hasn't been such a wild success that Marvel would need to emulate it.

Huh. Maybe they're revamping Millie the Model into Millie the Master Spy or something. It looks kind of Charlie's Angels-esque.

That said, it probably won't matter what it is. I doubt I'll read it.

I love Hitch quite a bit, but I'm not so fond of Millar or delays.

Ah. I'll give it a shot. The mystery around it, while silly, has piqued my interest well enough to pick up the first issue at least.

I'm still open to the possibility of trying it, depending on what it is. But the last time Millar put a new spin on some classic Marvel characters, we got Trouble.

Also, don't think I'm a complete *****e, but it's "piqued." Sorry, the "peak"/"pique" thing is one of my pet peeves.

I hope Hitch stops drawing people with black smudges on their faces.

It's fixed you spelling Natzi.

I'm not going to say where I work, but I talk to clients on the phone for a good part of the day. There's a product that we have and for anyone with a first grade education, it should be no problem to pronounce. However, every time they bring it up, it's mispronounced. Every single damn time. It kills me. I get antsy and I can feel my blood pressure sky rocketing.

Hitch mentioned he's a good 5 to 6 issues into this run already.Good news since this is only supposed to be 12 issues I think.

A fellow anal retentive pronunciation fiend, I see. We are legion.
