Fallout. I loved Maverick, but I feel like Fallout is a much stronger movie overall for me.

I need to watch Fallout again but I think I will prefer that over TG Maverick anyway.

Hmm, this is a tough one. Gotta think about that. Fallout's third act is so bonkers that I'm still not even sure how the next MI sequels are going to top it. An MI film also offers a nice variety of action sequences as opposed to focusing only on aerial scenes.

On the other hand, Maverick packs a nice emotional wallop that I don't think the MI films are able to quite tap into. I'll need more time.

I fully support Kosinski's remake/legacy sequel to Top Gun but I gotta give it to Fallout.

Oh, this is really close. I might have to leave Fallout because of the variety of well direct action.

If we're talking strictly action sequences then it's Fallout. But in terms of a better overall film, I might have to give it to Maverick because it has more heart to it. I cared more about Maverick as a character in that one film than I have for Ethan Hunt throughout all six Mission: Impossible movies so far.

Fallout is the better film, has more elaborate setpieces.

But Top Gun Maverick is more memorable and kind of sticks to the ribs more.

So Top Gun Maverick for me.

I'd go with Maverick here but Fallout isn't far behind it.
