Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol

I love this series, each a diffrent take. Can't wait to see what they do with this. Cruise looks like he never ages.

So, is that Simon Pegg with him in those pics?

So they've started filming and it STILL DOESN'T HAVE A TITLE?

Why not just call it 'Mission Impossible: Aries' or whatever codename that fits the storyline? done and done.
It'll probably just be called Mission Impossible 4, right? That's what the last two did. I know it's not the pinnacle of originality.

well, if you read up, Paramount doesn't want to call it 'part 4' so I don't know what they want to do with it.

Aside from Cruise's long hair giving me M:I-2 flashbacks, I'm looking forward to the new film. Keeping JJ Abrams involved is definitely a plus, and I'm actually excited about Brad Bird handling live-action.

Will Ethan still be married?

I don't know.
I was wary of a MI3 as well, but only reason I gave that a chance was JJ Abrahms, and he did a good job with it, original take for that kind of a spy flick.

MI4? I don't know... I'll reserve judgement 'till it's out.

I enjoyed all the MI films so this should live up to the series. Not like Tom Cruise has anything else going for him.

At one point Cruise was going to be Iron man. I wonder how that would have turned out

Only America didn't take to it as well as the rest of the world with it's very strong overseas take.....anyway looks like Ethan is using that disguise to break into the Russian prison.
I wonder what happened after the public spat where Tom Cruise got "fired" from Paramount and Sumner Redstone said he was committing career suicide. Paramount seemed to be really unhappy with how MI:3 performed so I wonder what smoothed things over to go back and do it all over again. Paramount was hesitant to greenlight MI:3 in 2005 because Cruise was going around acting like a lunatic.

Don't know anything about the girl, but Kapoor wasn't bad on 24.

It's good to see Paramount are keeping the 'foreign actors as villains' stereotype alive and well in Mission Impossible 4.

M:I - Jim Phelps AMERICAN
M:I:II - Sean Ambrose SCOTTISH
M:I:III - Owen Davian AMERICAN

Seems like they've only had one foreign villain in 3 movies so far.

It's kinda weird to see lea seydoux as a villain. She's so young and innocent looking. Cutie pie, if you will.

Im still a huge Cruise fan and couldnt be more excited for this movie, Knight and Day was criminally underrated and he always is good in action. I'm also excited that Brad Bird is directing.

Well in the third movie, the villains were American and one was an IMF agent.

I like that Brad Bird is directing but historically animation guys that try to go live action don't have a good time with the transition.

So how is this a reboot? This looks like another Cruise action vanity vehicle to me.

If this movie is anything like M:I:III then I'm excited.
