Geez, what is with these 2011 sequels getting these awful subtitles? First it was Transformers: The Dark of the Moon and now Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol.

For once, I just wish these filmmakers would stick to just numbered sequels or subtitles that didn't suck.

my favorite Mission: Impossible film is the first. The music, the shot compositions all of it. It almost has a sort of spooky feel to it.

I was 90% sure that i would hate MI3 but i didn't, looking back i even think it's actually better than the interesting yet flawed MI1.

The title sounds like the movie was canceled so they made a game instead. Maybe the movie deals with an agent who has to disappear for awhile. Probably Cruise

I'm not too thrilled about the title myself. Same goes for Batman and Transformers...whose titling these movies? That said, it in no one changes my opinion of the movies and my anticipation.

I would've been happy with simply a numerical suffix like the last two. Oh well. Ghost Protocol seems like it would be an awesome M:I-based game, but a little awkward as a movie title. You know what, f**k it. The title is badass. It's getting me totally stoked for the movie. I guess the addition of the Russian element is giving me a very cool Goldeneye vibe. Goddamn my anticipation went from 0 to 60 just while typing this!

They mention Prague earlier in the story as well.

It seems like once most numbered films go over a certain number of sequels they switch to subtitles. Like they become embarrassed that they made so many.

what's wrong with 'Ghost Protocol' when it falls into the same category as the Tom Clancy games within the same genre..kinda. Regardless of the medium.
