Here's some different views of both the Factory-X prop and Diamond Select prop.

There have been three companies to make a replica hammer over the years. Factory X, Diamond Select and Museum Replicas.

Who will be doing the movie replica? Hasbro has put out a couple of toy versions, but there hasn't been any word on anyone doing a nice, highly detailed high-dollar hammer.

Have any of you guys heard anything?

I Would Hope Windlass Steel Crafts would make a prop for the movie. I mean the did and amazing job on the Ulty Mjolnir and the Helmets.

I think this hammer has great detail and looks just like the movie version:

a solid block of Aluminum, solid oak handle and real leather custom hand wrapped. Weighs in at 19.4 lbs.
Base is fiberglass and foam.

Your Mjolnir looks really good, but the movie hammer doesn't have the script on the side of the head. It has it on the circular top portion in phonetic Norse.

Also, with your hammer the head looks to be too small or the handle is too long. And although similar, the handle doesn't look like the movie hammer.

But still, very nice.

Thanks-- its MY take on the movie version-- didnt say it was screen accurate--

Will you be attempting a more screen accurate version? I'd definitely be interested if so.

Looks as if at this point no replica company will be doing it. Or, at least none I've heard of yet.

Amazing! I love your take on the Mjolnir movie hammer. I just would like to have the handle a little bit shorter. But with the base and stuff, it's really stunning.
I hate living in Germany. If not, I would order one from you.
But with customs and stuff it's too expensive for me.
Keep up the good work! :-)

Here is a cheap prop I'm interested in getting just to have some fun with it. Retails for 17.99 on most costume sites but isn't in stock yet...

I like that they didn't make the face rectangular like they did on all the movie toy hammers.

Ill be making these with the Norse Runes on top and no writing on the side as well, shorter handle and in the resin with metal powder for those who are interested.

Well this is the translated phrase on the Movie Mjolnir, Eagle.
