Are there any movies, or any properties at all, that you're just dying to see as a video game? Which one deserves the next Arkham City style adaption?

I think it's madness that we haven't really seen a fantastic Terminator video game yet. It's the perfect property. It's relevent and well known with a huge fan base and best of all you could probably still get Arnold Schwaranegger to voice the Terminator.

It could take part in between T1 and T2 when Sarah is trying to keep an infant John Connor off the grid. Best of all, they should go easy on the iconic theme until right towards the end when it suddenly blasts out at the climatic moment.

You could even have little datapacks or whatever from Kyle Reese where you can play in the future.

I second the Terminator games idea, i would also like to see a proper Friday the 13th game where you can play as Jason, kind of a bloody version of Arkham Asylum, where you at first start by killing teens camping and there begin to appear stronger and more difficult targets like the police, it would get some bad rep too for making people play as a psychopath :D I never played Manhunter but i think it's something like that what the game should be about.

Next, i would like to see an Inception video game, as Christopher Nolan himself anounced that he wanted to make one, i would like to see what he could do in the video game industry, and i would like it to be more of a stand alone game or a sequel than a direct adaptation. I don't know if it should be an fps, a game in the same style of uncharted, a strategy game or whatever, but it would be cool if he incorpurated all these types of gaming, where each team had a leader, an architect, and a normal guy, each, depending in where they are would have a different type of gaming.

In the online mode you could even assault other players minds and they could create their traps, i would also like to see another Chronicles of Riddick game, they've been all great, a better and more original Avatar games could be also interesting.

Has there ever been made a Planet of the apes games? Because if done by the same studios that made the back to the future and jurassic park ones could be interesting.

Happy Gilmore

Hockey, golf, and fighting all in one.

Is there an Indiana Jones game?

Excluding the Lego games, there have been a few over the years. I remember playing one on the PS1 or 2 (forget which) that was pretty good. There was also one for the Wii that came out two or three years ago.

Not a movie, but I'd love to see an open-world RPG for Sons of Anarchy. I know the creator, Kurt Sutter is considering doing a simple website-based game, but I'd love to see a full blown, AAA console title. Start out as a prospect and work your way up in the club. It could take place during the beginnings of SoA, so we could see the formation of the club with the Original 9 and the fall of John Teller.

As a franchise in general: Moon Knight

As far as movies go, I'll buy a good Terminator game, Inception, and Indiana Jones

Is there an Indiana Jones game?
When they first announced that LucasArts had purchased the rights to the Euphoria engine, they said it was being used on an Indiana Jones game. They ended up just releasing the Wii version and scrapping the ps3/360 version. Sad, cuz i was really looking forward to it. I did LOVE Fate of Atlantis as a kid though.

Going off of Spider-Who? I think The Shield would have made for a great game in some competent hands. It would essentially be a mix of GTA (Vic Mackey missions) and L.A. Noire (Dutch Missions). So basically, Rockstar should have been behind it.

As for a movie..I think War of the Worlds would make for a crazy survival/horror game.

That sounds amazing. I'd be all over that.

i'd love to see a Star Wars game based on the original trilogy for the PS3 & XB360.

Indiana Jones as well. imagine an Indy game using the mechanics of Uncharted. that would be so sweet!

a Terminator game based on the 1st 2 films would be pretty sweet, as well as a Robocop game.

the other day i watched Running Man and was pretty surprised to find out that there was never a game made based off that for the NES. if done right, it could be a pretty cool game.

Limitless would be great game

A-Team could work as a squad based shooter

Robocop - Third Person Shooter

Kill Bill - Hack n Slash action game

If I could have any movie be made into a video game, it would definitely be The Crow. I'm talking Brandon Lee's interpretation of The Crow though. Everyone else I feel did a disgrace to the role.

The Crow is one of my all time favorite films! It's timeless. And I feel if a studio were interested in making a game based off The Crow, they could easily look at the film for inspiration/influence over the direction of the project. I watch the film and just think...damn, there are a lot of potential game mechanics. For instance...

It'd be awesome to have a free roam Detroit. I live in Detroit and it's a great city! Sure it has a bad reputation but really, it's like New Yorks Harlem. Harlem nowadays isn't nearly as bad as it was a couple years ago. It's kind of cleaning itself up to an extent. Well, the same kind of applies to Detroit. The city definitely had potential but unfortunately it lost the battle thanks to corrupt politicians and the like.

But that's a whole other story. I feel Detroit though would make a fascinating environment to explore. I'm so tired of getting the same cityscapes. Mainly New York and Los Angeles. There are a plethora of other cities to choose and explore. I feel this alone would make the title interesting.

Combine that with a Spider-Man 2/Arkham City feel where you have a bunch of side missions and stuff. The main storyline though could follow that of the film. Eric's hunt for retribution. Also, while watching the film, you see that The Crow plays a key role in Eric's survival. This would allow designers to use the Crow as a perfect guide tool. It could keep players immersed in the experience.

I always hate when you're running around a game and you don't know where to go. Then an icon pops up out of no where to point you in the right direction. It kind of takes you out of the experience and reminds you that you're playing a game.

With a Crow video game, players could easily wander around aimlessly. Obviously they don't know where to go. It'd be cool to have the Crow thats flying over your head caw and fly over and perch next to a door or something you're supposed to go through.

It would also make for a great tutorial. In the movie, after Brandon gets up out of his coffin, The Crow flies over to a dumpster to tell him there are shoes for his bare feet. Whenever I see that scene, I always think of it as a video game.

I definitely think it has potential and am hoping that some studio will stand up to the challenge. Maybe when the reboot comes around we'll get a movie tie in. All I know is, The Crow is a phenomenal graphic novel. Very under appreciated. Such a shame. Many are missing out.

I enjoyed Path of Neo for what it was, but The Matrix should have spawned some better games. Enter the Matrix was weird, and The Matrix Online didn't exactly look stellar.

Yea there was deff a lot of potential for that franchise in video games.

I agree with many who have already mentioned..

New Terminator/Robocop/Indiana Jones&StarWars games with a Crow&Inception ones to be made!

Somebody mentioned a Star Wars original trilogy one and I kinda agree,But I'd personally like an RPG being set 30+years after ROTJ and Luke has had a padawan who he's trained until he's become a young Jedi knight,The character is able to be customized by the player and the story is about the young new Jedi knight being on his first mission on his own..Although he makes allies&foes along the way,The RPG elements leads the character&player on a path to old&true ways of the Jedi and to honor his Master Luke..Or tempted by the new Dark side&may battle his master at the end for a battle of power&control

They can take elements from the"Expanded Universe"set in the novels/comics& games..Many who are strong with the force have shown up/Luke builds a new Jedi temple/Luke makes a new Jedi order/Luke marries/Han&Leila marries&have two kids/Bobba Fett lives/Emperor Palpitine may be alive/Knowledge&Reference could be made about Starkiller(Force Unleashed games)

This! This would rock my socks!

I could also go for a Fast and Furious action/racer type adventure game.

A fast and Furious game in the style of GTA where you could plan heists and car tournaments could be cool, or maybe just something in the style of the Need for Speed games, The Mummy franchise has the potencial of having some games in the style of Uncharted but with an even bigger emphasis on the supernatural aspect.

I would also like to see more Alien vs Predator games and either, a Robocop vs Terminator game or an Alien vs Predator vs Terminator one, so much can be done with those franchises. I also think that a Rec. game could be neat, kind of like any other zombie survival game but the twist would be that the FPS vision of the player is in fact recorded images.

There was also a Temple of Doom arcade cabinet from Atari that was a big hit in the arcades in the 80s. I luh-huved playing that one. ;)

BURN IN HELL, MOLA RAM :cmad:

As for recommendations: I'd like to see a VG based on the Mad Max series....basically Fallout hits the open road. And classic Trek --- did they ever make games featuring Kirk and Spock and co?

Taken
Blade runner
Indiana jones
Clash of the titans
Jason and the argonauts
Rambo
Die hard
Shaun of the dead(a funnier zombie game)
Van Helsing (dunno if they did one)

There's been a number of Star Wars games based on the original trilogy over the years. I can think of 3-4 systems off the top of my head where I took down the AT-ATs on Hoth. If they did it, they'd really have to do something special.

A Running Man game would be cool, even better would be if added in elements of the book. I'd basically just keep the "bosses" from the movie, base everything else off the book.

Limitless would be great game

A-Team could work as a squad based shooter

Robocop - Third Person Shooter

Kill Bill - Hack n Slash action game

Really?!?!?! That would be so frustrating because the A-Team were horrible shots, they couldn't hit anything.

Darkman
Kiss of the Dragon (or anything with Jet Li)
The Sopranos (I know, it's not a movie but it would be a fun GTA type game)
Dexter (again, not a movie but it would make a great game...maybe)
Rambo

Rambo would be awesome,I thought one was being made?I remember last year there were news on a Rambo game with Sly voicing..But no news since:(!!

I would love to see an updated, triple AAA take on the Matrix. The path of Neo was a great idea but bad execution and left alot to be desired, a double jump isn't flying.

Prezactly! I seem to vaguely recall an AvP side scroller that was kinda cool in the arcades. Having that kind of 80s actioner crossover could be pretty awesome.

I actually loved the double jump in Path of Neo, cuz that second jump took you fifty plus feet in the air, it was kinda cool. I always thought that the first matrix game, Enter the Matrix, was awesome, and a little tighter in execution.

You know what else I'd like to see?

An X-Men video game based off the films, where everyone can control an X-Man in third person view. So you'd have the tactical squad based stuff more like Star Wars Republic Commando rather than the overhead beat em up squad based combat of an Ultimate Alliance game.

Also, I'd like to see a dance movie rhythm game for Step Up. Weird I know, but It'd be kinda cool, potentially.
