MP3 player won't turn off or on.

I've had it since Christmas & the piece of crap decides to stop working. I went to go listen to some songs & it just stays frozen. The screen just says Sansa m240 1.0GB. It was working perfectly fine the rest of the day though. I contacted the support section of Sandisk but that'll probably take a while. The battery's even brand new. Anyone know how to fix this?

Is there a reset button in it? most if them do, its a very tiny hole normally and needs to be pressed with a pin.
