Well instead of having a ton of random multimedia threads made and closed... i figured i'd just open an offical one up..
if there's one like this or the thead is pointless just close it then.

but anyways ill start off by asking the first question

i have a wmv video file on my computer and i wanted to burn it to a dvd. How do i do that?

I am assuming you want to create a "dvd" of it...meaning its in the format of a standard dvd?

i dont even know the format it is suppose to be in so it can play in standard dvd players.

You're going to need a prog that will change the format of the movie to something compatible with DVD players and then actually burn to the disk so it is readable. You could Google it. I did and found this program.

Not really. It all depends on the DVD player that you have. Some DVD players can play WMV, MP4, MP3, WMA, XVID, AVI formats.
