a buddy of mine PROBABLY has killed a family. He was drunk as hell one night driving home from a party on the express way and while speeding well over 90, hit a van and made it flip over onto its top. He, of course, didn't stop and kept going.

It's the internet though, you know how many crimes are probably talked about on the internet. It's almost anonymous, plus unless he's already being looked at by the cops in his real life, I doubt he's said anything that's even possible to investigate

I doubt most regular cops would press the matter too much online, but if the case went to court the families of the victims or victims themselves could use the information to their advantage even if he isn't convicted of a crime.
